Hi. I'm Bree.
I'm a USA 829 Costume Designer, working in both New York and LA and I've got a serious penchant for that which is subtly silly. The devil lives in the idiosyncratic details. Life makes more sense to me when viewed through a lense of clothing. I find artistic fulfillment in pushing plot and developing story through the curation of a character's wardrobe.
My recent work can be seen in the short film Great Choice, on the CBS show Elementary (ACD), and in myriad commercials. Past works have included “Servitudes” a Jesper Just installation at Palais de Tokyo which has recently been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. “Ikea: Come Home to Play” (Creative Pool Award for Best Advertising: Broadcast), and Sam Smith's music video for “Like I Can” directed by Sophie Muller.
Additionally, I am a classically trained stitcher and firsthand, having cut my teeth at the Tony Award Winning Utah Shakespearean Festival. In 2013, I tailored Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience World Tour, working directly with Tom Ford's team. I've also had the extreme pleasure of working with the Muppets creating custom clothing for a number of characters, most notably Miss Piggy.
Actively looking for representation.
Get in touch. Seriously looking forward to it.
